The Old Manse

Last Monday our neighbors, Emma and I went to visit the Old Manse. We've walked by this old house so many times and we finally decided to go inside and look around. This house is full of rich history. It was built in 1770 by minister William Emerson and since the house sits very close to the Old North Bridge, they were able to witness the famous battle against the British.
We couldn't take pictures inside the house. In each room of the first floor there was guide who told us interesting facts about the house. We also toured the second floor and the attic. The attic was my favorite part of the house. There are five bedrooms in the attic and each room told its own story. Most of the walls and beams are exposed, so it was neat to look at the construction of this old house.
We were there for over two hours and Emma enjoyed our visit and did not complain at all.
