With Daddy

Don’t let her fool you! We gave Emma a bath and at first she was not happy. Luckily after a few seconds in the water she calmed down and really enjoyed it.

Emma was very content after her bath and ready for bed: It is a joy seeing Cameron with Emma:

Sleeping

If only we could all sleep this peacefully…

Schedule & Routine?

Our basement is drying out. We got more water than we expected and Cameron had to pump the water out several nights in a row. The dehumidifier and fan are running 24/7 and we are almost back to normal.
Emma is doing well. She’s on a schedule…her OWN schedule and her OWN routine! She sometimes eats every two hours but thankfully she only wakes up twice every night and goes back to sleep after we are done. Her pediatrician told us to feed her “on demand” and that’s exactly what I’m doing.

We went to church yesterday and it was definitely an adventure since our commute is an hour and we had to coordinate with Emma’s feeding schedule. We made it to church on time and of course Emma wanted to eat as soon as we got there.
Here are some pictures of our little one.
She looks pretty satisfied after her feeding:

In her baby papasan...she really enjoys it. We put her in there while we are eating.

Cameron and I bought a bottle of champagne a while ago and we finally were able to open it and celebrate. Our excuse was Emma’s birth. We went over to our neighbors’ house and enjoyed the champagne and dessert.

This champagne was recommended by our neighbors and it is REALLy good:

She enjoys sucking at Cameron's thumb; he can really calm her down:
