Ana

Ana is too wild. She is quite the opposite of Emma at that age.  She keeps me busy pretty much all day except when she's sleeping. There are times when Ana and Emma are playing peacefully, and there are other times when they are fighting or arguing. Yes, this little one has quite a temper but she is also very sweet.

Emma Looking out the Window

I caught Emma looking out the window with her Fancy Nancy doll.  Really cute!

Oatmeal Apple Pancakes

This morning we had oatmeal apple pancakes.  Not only are they healthy, they are also full of flavor and extremely easy to make.  So yummy!

Yellow Chair

Our garden chair needed some color because it was unnoticed. A coat of yellow paint did the trick.

Fourth of July Roses

Last year we got several rose bushes. One if them is called Fourth of July. The rose is so beautiful with its red, white and pink colors.  Can't wait to see the bush in full bloom.

Playing with Atenas

Emma and Atenas are good buddies. Here's Emma feeding three "babies".

Cactus for Dinner

Eating cactus is very common in Mexico but I grew up disliking it. It was after I married Cameron that he requested this Mexican dish and now I really enjoy eating it. I'm glad the girls are being exposed to traditional mexican food and they seem to enjoy it very much.

The cactus are a courtesy of my parents.

Emma at the Library

Emma and Coco are now some of the older kids during Friday's story hour at the library. Hard to believe we've been going there for almost two years.

Planting Tomato Plants

Our cousins from Michigan sent Emma a tomato kit for her birthday (perfect birthday gift for someone who enjoys gardening and getting wet).  We started the seeds inside and finally it was warm enough to plant the seedlings outside. It's been fun seeing Emma notice the growth of her tomato plant and her interest for gardening.

Emma showing off her tomato seedlings:

 Putting it in the ground:

Watering it (notice the fancy slippers - not sure if they are good gardening shoes):

Watering the rest of the garden - carrots and beets:

And Ana a little upset because she couldn't get out of the wagon and "help" her sister (Ana had already eaten her share of mulch):

Kitchen Cabinets

With all the toys around the house, why is Ana so interested in pulling out all the storage bags and getting into the kitchen cabinets? Why? Can someone answer this please?
