Another Doll

Both girls are learning to share toys and even play with each other. Here's Emma playing dolls with Ana. Notice all the other baby dolls on the floor but they are not as fun as placing Ana in the doll stroller.

Crazy kiddos!

Bolillos

After five plus years of marriage and being away from a Mexican bakery, I finally learned how to make Mexican bolillos.
Cameron really enjoyed them. He only wished we had some of my dad's homemade chorizo.

Ana - Nine Months

Ana is nine months today.  She is definitely growing very fast (wearing 18 month clothes), crawling all over, and pulling herself up on anything that she can reach (furniture and people). Ana is learning how to get in trouble by reaching for her big sister's toys and some times I think she expresses her opinion towards Emma by screaming or "defending" herself.  She can't be left alone.  The safest place when she's unsupervised is the play pen.

Her second bottom tooth is coming out.  We can't really see it but it was obvious when she decided to take a bite at my arm and left her teeth prints on my skin.

Ana figured out that she can clap her hands and actually make noise.  She's been doing that quite often.  We are also teaching her sign language and I think the other day she signed "more" and I got it on video!

She's eating three puree foods a day and so far she's eating everything and loves drinking water from a sippy cup (just like her big sister).

We love her so much!

Ana's Hair Style

This is what happens when Daddy takes care of fixing Ana's hair:

Of course Cameron was just goofying around.  This photo was taken right after Ana's bath and right before I put her to bed.

Day after Christmas - First Snow

We didn't have a white Christmas but we got plenty of snow the day after Christmas.  Even though we experienced three tough winters in New England, this was Emma's first real exposure to snow.

She had so much fun building a snow man with her dad:

Then a few days later Emma's little friend came over and they had a blast playing in the snow:

Notice that neither has gloves on and Emma is trying to eat the snow:
