Bow & Heels

For some reason Emma is fascinated with my pink high heels.  I can't even remember the last time I wore them but at least Emma is putting them to good use.

And once again I tried putting a bow on Emma's hair but that girl is so stubborn that she just won't leave it on!

Girls - Blue Dresses

Yesterday the girls got gifts from Monica (tio Jorge's girlfriend) that included three different outfits for each girl.  This is the first time that I've dressed the girls in the same outfit (keep in mind that Ana is using Emma's hand-me-downs among other outfits that she's gotten).

Today we went to Grammy's house and of course this was the perfect excuse for the girls to wear one of their new outfits.  Surprisingly Emma didn't complain about the dress since she is the stage that she only wants to wear pants I guess because they protect her from mosquito bites and scratches.

Here are pictures of the girls at Grammy's house.  Emma wore the blue bow on her hair for only a couple of shots (notice that she's eating candy - that was not a bribe).

Emma looks so inocent in this picture (bow is gone!):

This picture just makes me laugh.  They are both giving me the "evil" eye:

Ana & Emma - Monkey Suit

Grammy Douglas got Emma a monkey suit that is one of my favorites (it has a little monkey on the front).  Now Ana is old enough to wear it and I just love it!

Here are pictures of Ana and Emma with their Grandpa wearing that monkey outfit.

Pig Tails

Many of you know that it is VERY hard for me to get Emma to cooperate when it comes to put something on her hair.  I'm embarrassed to say that I sometimes bribe her with candy if she can just leave the bows alone while we go out.  Well, bribing doesn't work all the time.

Here's Emma with her pig tails that lasted less than a minute:

Girls - Reading

Emma loves books and she pretends she can read.  It is very cute seeing her share her love for books with her little sister.

Ana - Teething

Ana started teething and she's not even four months old! Bless her heart.  This little one is so different from her sister and is doing things at her own pace (Emma started teething at eight months).

Pictures at the Garden - Emma's Bloopers

At first Emma didn't want to look at the camera.  All of the sudden she was acting shy! Seriously?

Emma didn't want to be left behind; she also wanted a picture in the basket:

At the Garden

First time the girls and I went to this garden was during the summer reading club. Emma was a little distracted with all the neat things around us. We decided we had to take Daddy and show him the fishes, pond and flowers.

Ana - Three Months

Yesterday Ana turned three months.  One of the things she enjoys the most is having Emma right in her face and making her laugh.  I think she is bigger than Emma at this age.  She has been wearing size 6 months clothing for about three weeks (Emma started wearing it at around four months) and it seems that she is stronger every day.

We went to a local garden a few blocks away from our house to take some pictures.  Everything is so green and colorful.  Emma really enjoyed looking for fishes in the pond and goofying around with Dad.

Ana's letters are a gift from her Grammy Douglas (she is quite talented and creative).
