Halloween

We were "Catrinas" for Halloween. The girls had their buckets overflowing by the time we were done. Mission accomplished.

Pan de Muerto

We made our first Pan de Muerto. The girls enjoyed eating the leftover cinnamon and sugar after spreading it on the bread.

Celebrating Aaron's Birthday

Our nephew Aaron turned thirteen last Thursday. We had a great time celebrating his birthday last night. The girls love their cousin, especially when he makes noises with his hand and armpit!

Preschool Halloween Party

I was able to help out at Ana's preschool today and enjoy some of the Halloween festivities. It was fun seeing Ana interact with her little friends and behave with her teachers.

Mexican Dance

Sunday was the Day if the Dead festival and the girls performed their first Mexican dance during the festival. They enjoyed it so much. I'm glad they can embrace a small piece of their Mexican heritage.

Bike Ride to School

Cameron had the day off from work today, it being Columbus Day, and he took Ana to preschool. He had promised her they were going to ride the trailer bike to school. It was a chily morning but that didn't discourage Ana. She had a blast!

Fall Festival

We enjoyed going to our community's fall festival. The girls had fun painting pumpkins and playing in the playground. Emma got to see some of her old friends from kindergarten and current friends from first grade.  Good times!
