Air Force Retirement Ceremony

I'm glad our girls got to witness the retirement ceremony of their uncle Col. Matthew Douglas at AFIT. We are very proud of him.

That Day in May Parade

Today was That Day in May parade in Oakwood. Our friend Rocio, coordinator for the Spanish Immersion Program, asked if the girls could wear their Mexican dresses and join their group during the parade. I joined them and guided the girls through some of the Mexican dances they know. It was a lot of fun.

Sparkly Leotard

Ana got this leotard from a neighbor. She wanted to wear it to school but that was not an option. She got to wear it to gymnastics instead. Ha!

Kings Island - Girls Only

I never thought going to an amusement  park with my girls would be so fun and easy. Ana still has to grow about half an inch before being allowed to ride more roller coasters. Emma rode two roller coasters by herself (big step) and Ana finally got to enjoy White Water Canyon ride (we got soaked).

Having another adult would have been better so that Emma could ride more rides. Maybe next time we go Ana will be tall enough!
