Looks like Ana is getting big cheeks just like her sister.

At the Hospital
Yesterday at 24 days old, Ana was admitted to the hospital. She doesn't look or act sick, but she has to be on antibiotics due to an infection. Hopefully we can go home tomorrow.
Grandparents & Abuelos
Here are some "old" pictures of Ana with her Abuelos and Grandparents at the hospital when she was born. I'm so glad that this time all of our parents were able to be involved in welcoming our new daughter to our family.

Pink Bow
Auntie Jenny sent Emma a bag full of bows of all different sizes and colors (maybe over 50 bows) but unfortunately Emma doesn't seem interested in wearing them. It is probably my fault because I didn't "make" her wear them when she was a baby. At the time when Emma was a baby, we lived in MA and it was really cold and I always had Emma wearing a hat and not bows or head bands. Well, now that she's older, I'm paying for it.
Anyway, I don't know what got into her last Sunday but she wanted her DAD to comb her hair and put on a bow. I was so excited to see her in a bow that I wanted to take a few pictures of her.
Thanks Jenny for the bows and headbands! Since we live in a warmer weather, I promise I'll have Ana in headbands and bows when she has enough hair!

Two Weeks Old
Dirty Boots vs. Girly Socks
I have mentioned many times that Emma loves the outdoors and of course she enjoys jumping in the puddles and getting dirty and wet like millions of other kids. Good thing that Grammy Douglas got Emma a pair of rain boots so that I won't have to worry about Emma getting wet and dirty.
Emma splashing the puddle (and just for the record, Emma picked her outfit):
On the other hand, my friend Amanda got Ana the cuttest pairs of socks that mimic Mary Janes. I'm sure that as Ana gets older, she'll learn to love the outdoors and follow Emma's footsteps in getting wet and dirty. For now, I'll just enjoy one day at a time.

Home from the Hospital
Ana and I were discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. We could have stayed a couple of extra days but since we were both doing great, we decided to go home to the rest of our family.
Cameron arrived to the hospital with Emma and as soon as she saw us, Emma was ready to put Ana in the car seat and take her home.

Last (only) pregnant pictures
After putting Emma down for her nap, Cameron and I went out on our last date before the arrival of our baby girl #2 gets here. We went to the park and took some pictures of my pregnant belly, then headed to a chain restaurant for some wings. Cameron wanted to make this last pregnant day as enjoyable as possible.
I'm scheduled for a c-section tomorrow morning at 7:30. I've been literally counting down the days and hours. We know that the Lord is in control of every little detail and that brings us peace and joy.
Emma will be taken well care of by her abuelos. She's getting so spoiled by them but I'm glad she's enojoying them and getting to know them.
Here are my preggo pictures from earlier today:
