Aunt Jan’s Visit

Aunt Jan spent some days visiting us and we had a great time with her. The weather cooperated with her visit and we were able to visit many tourist attractions around our area. We enjoyed morning walk to the North Bridge, a tour around the Orchard House, a day in downtown Boston, visit to the New England Aquarium, walk around Battle Road, and dinner at great restaurants!

Our day in Boston - first stop: State House

New England Aquarium and the Harbor:

Paul Revere and The North Church:

Minute Man National Park - the Battle Road:

The last night she was here, aunt Jan invited us to have dinner at the Colonial Inn which was established in 1716 and played a big role in the historical events during the first battles in the Revolutionary War. Dinner was delicious and we had a great time laughing and enjoying each other's company!

Aunt Jan had an absolutely WONDERFUL time!! I know because it's me! Cam and Caroline really know how to show their visitors a good time--and the home cooked meals (delicious Mexican, Thai and American food) were a real treat. They live in a beautiful, historical area that is fun to explore. Thanks again, you two (and Atenas)! I love you!
