Emma couldn't wait to start eating her candy from school. She was doing a good job sharing it with her sister.

Ana fell asleep on our way back from the grocery store. It was not even nap time so she caught me by surprise. She usually wakes up as soon as we get home. Well not this time. She slept on our bed for over an hour! After that her entire napping was disturbed. Good thing this just happens rarely.

Ana loves playing with her babies and toy stroller. I don't think she realizes she's too big to sit in the tiny stroller. Ana looks really cute holding her baby in this picture.

Six years and counting

Today is our sixth wedding anniversary. I typically post a picture of our wedding but today I'm posting pictures of our visit to the apple orchard that we stopped by on our way home from church. The girls loved the petting zoo. Ana got a little too comfortable with the miniature donkey and she got her index finger bitten. I doubt she's learned a lesson.  It is cute when she tells us about her "horsey owie right here" while pointing to the wrong finger.

Last Friday a friend of mine and I agree to take pictures of each other with our kiddos. We are no professionals but it was still fun doing it. Unfortunately my girls were not really cooperating when it was time to get our pictures taken. Oh well, maybe next time...

Jonah & Scenet's Wedding

Last weekend I traveled by myself to Denver for the wedding of my good friend Scenet. I've known Scenet for about 20 years (goodness, that alone makes me feel old) and it was a true blessing sharing this exciting moment with her and her husband Jonah. Scenet asked me to be in her wedding and it was a privilege and honor that I shared with five other girls.

 

We got some snow the day before the wedding! Scenet warned me about the crazy weather in Denver and luckily it was clear and beautiful on the wedding day. You can see snow on the mountains way in the back:

 

 

It was really good seeing my friends.  Can't believe we are all married now.

Scenet first moved in to Denver to babysit for Elizabeth.  Now Elizabeth was part of Scenet's wedding!

 

The "local" bride's maids did an excellent job in serving Scenet and the out-of-town crew. Pami and I bonded really good with these lovely girls Bethany and Debbie.  They both made us feel welcome and Debbie fed us gourmet breakfast twice!

 

 

We took these pictures while we were waiting for the bride and groom - they were having their photo shoot before the wedding.

Notice we are not wearing any shoes in this picture. It was very hard trying to jump with high heels.  We needed to be safe and avoid breaking something right before the wedding! So fun!
