This weekend we picked the first batch of beets and they are really tasty! We planted the seeds March 31st under a greenhouse (built by Cameron).
Our lettuce is also doing really good and we've been enjoying grilled chicken salads.
The strawberries didn't produce much last year but now that the plants are mature, the fruit seems to be a lot more. Unfortunately, we've had some critters that have taken a few of our mature strawberries. We've caged the garden and sprayed with liquid fence; hopefully that will solve the problem.
