Girls were ready to go by 8 AM. There were so many gymnasts divided by levels and categories (child, junior, and senior). Our biggest surprise was Ana getting a 9.2 in the balance beam and that earned her a third place in her level/category.
It is great seeing the girls encourage and cheer for each other.
Since we were in town, I wanted to visit The University of Toledo (Cameron’s alma matter). It is a beautiful campus!
On Thursday we traveled to Toledo, OH for the 2022 National Gymnastics Competition. The opening ceremony was held at the Mud Hens stadium followed by inflatable games and a baseball game. The guest speaker was Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez.
I’m so glad Miss Karen encouraged all the girls that qualified to participate. It was a wonderful experience.
Titus is a proud big brother. They got home this morning and we went for a quick visit. When Aryelle started crying, Titus said “baby Aryelle is crying and I do t know what she wants. And I’m her big brother!” Titus is so sweet with her.
