Last Tuesday the city took down a tree that was next to our driveway. It was the home to several woodpeckers but it was rotten. The tree came down in about 30 minutes with precise cuts to make it fall in the right-of-way.

Best Buddies
Emma and Madeline have been friends since kindergarten. They are in different class but they still hang out during recess and during Mexican Dance performances.
4/22 Moisture Barrier & Window
Cameron finished installing the moisture barrier all around the dormer. This thing is now water proof. Dan helped him install the window. They did a great job.

Another Performance
Today was the first time Emma and her friend performed in the dance outfits that I made. The girls can really move and twirl those skirts (nine yards if fabric) with lots of grace.
Ana had another commitment (a birthday party that we had already RSVP) and had to miss this performance.
Magnolia Tree
It is starting to look like spring! The buds on our Magnolia tree survived the snow flakes we got last week and now it looks beautiful!

The Phantom of the Opera
We know the story. We sing along. We've seen the DVDs...and today the girls got to see The Phantom of the Opera. We had great seats. We lived every second of it.

First Day at Kings Island
This is the first year we got season tickets to Kings Island. We went yesterday and it was very crowded but we had a great time.

Girls & Another Spring Dusting of Snow
This morning we woke up to another dusting of snow. We can see the buds on our Magnolia tree trying to come out. Hopefully they will survive this crazy weather.
On another hand, Ana found a baby crochet dress that was given to her from a good friend in Mexico. Ana decided to wear the dress as a shirt.
Emma is the star reader at her class and has to find a poem. Good thing auntie Carol gave us Where the Sidewalk Ends so Emma can pick a poem she likes.
Everything is perfect in our neck is the woods and we are so grateful to our Lord that we lack nothing.

Ana is Six!
Ana turned six at 7:56 this morning...and we also woke up to three inches of snow. It was beautiful!
