Another Birthday Playdate
Emma and Sofie became good friends because they are both in gymnastics at the YMCA. It is a lot if fun seeing these two girls play together. They are really sweet.

Easter Egg Hunt
I took the girls to the annual Easter egg hunt at the church where both attended preschool. Emma got a lot more eggs than Ana. Her solution: to count the eggs and divide them equally. Emma has such a tender heart.
After the egg hunt was over, the church put together a great puppet show telling the kids all about Jesus, His death and resurrection.

Wacky Clothes
Wearing unmatched clothing is typical for Ana. Emma, on the other hand, does a good job matching or asking for fashion advice.

The Jungle Book Production
Emma's school put together a production of The Jungle Book. The sixth graders did an excellent job and the girls really enjoyed the performance.
As a side note, Emma made a poster of The Jungle Book during art class to promote the play. Pretty good for a second grader. Love her artistic touch!
Snow Day!
Snow in March! We got around four inches and we are NOT complaining. At least our Magnolia tree hasn't bloomed yet and therefore we expect to see beautiful flowers within the next few weeks. The girls went to school but many of the school districts around us were closed.
Weekend Birthday Celebration
Sunday after church we went to visit our friends Dan, Allison and their baby boy Titus. It was such a beautiful day that the girls spent most of the afternoon riding their four-wheel and hiking through the woods. They are both getting more comfortable riding through the trails. The girls also got in the hot tub and snuggled with Titus.
After our visit, we went to City Barbeque for dinner to celebrate Emma's birthday (which was on Monday). We can't believe Emma is eight and she's such a joy!

Emma's Birthday Party
It was early dismissal at school so we had a few of Emma's friends over to celebrate her eighth birthday. Pizza, cookie cake, ice cream and piñata.
