Our Christmas lights are up on our Magnolia tree and they look great. Both girls helped; taking turns to get up on the ladder.
I think we are still short of white lights on some of the branches. Ha! We'll see how they look tonight.

Yesterday the girls helped me set up the Christmas tree. It is a small tree, so it didn't take long to get it done. However, thus was the first year that the girls decorated it all on their own (except for the Christmas lights). Having said so, the tree is missing all of my breakable ornaments; they are still in a box safe and sound.
We also put up Christmas lights outside on our Magnolia tree. We ran out of lights, therefore we might have to finish later thus week.
Auntie Carol is visiting from Chicago and she brought along her dog Olive. The girls and I watched her while auntie Carol and the rest if our family toured Hawthorn Hill (home to Orville Wright). Olive is such a sweet pup.
We hosted Thanksgiving dinner this year. Fifteen people in total. We had to use Gramp's old dinning table that we have in our basement impeded to seat that many people. The girls helped me bring it upstairs but we had to wait for Cameron to bring it inside.
We had shared so many memorable moments around this table and this year was no exception. Love being around family.
Today was the first cold morning of the season. I'm sure that in February 28℉ is going to feel like a heat wave!
