I gave Cameron a haircut this evening and the girls also wanted a trim. Ana requested the clippers to shave her hair. Not happening. Ha!

A World A'fair Performance
The girls got to perform at the A World A'Fair last night and they will get to do it again tonight. Being part of Orgullo Mexicano is teaching them discipline, coordination and love for traditional Mexican Dance.
The girls did a great job.

Art Show
We went to Emma's elementary school to look at the art work all had students have been working on throughout the year. Emma loves art and her teachers!
Día de la Madre
May 10th is always Mother's Day in Mexico. The girls made me beautiful cards and Ana gave me the craft that she made at school. Being a school night and the girls having piano lessons, we decided to stay home for dinner. Cameron grilled Hawaiian burgers. Everything was delicious and I'm grateful for my wonderful husband and great kids. The Lord has given me more than I deserve.

29℉ this Morning
It was 29℉ this morning and Emma wanted to wear shorts to school. I just asked her not to complain about being cold and that she needed a jacket.
Ana on the other hand is wearing Emma's old dress and purple shoes. Very cute!

Cinco de Mayo at the Library
Our local library asked if I could help coordinate their Cinco de Mayo program. The big hit was having the Mexican Dance group Orgullo Mexicano. Emma and Ana have been part of this dance group since last September and they really enjoy it. Our librarian started by reading a book that explained the significance of Cinco de Mayo, followed by Mexican dance performance, crafts and piñata.
