1st Day of Preschool (4-year olds)

Ana has her first day of preschool today. She was so excited and ready to go.

Eating Machaca

I love it when my girls ask to eat something Mexican. Ana wanted carne seca (dried meat) for a snack. Of course Emma wanted some as well as soon as she saw her sister's bowl.

Cake & Dinner

The flour less mint chocolate cake was a huge success! The recipe is definitely a keeper. The girls and Cameron really enjoy it.

Flour less Mint Chocolate Cake

With Cameron's dietary restrictions I have to be adventurous and try recipes with new ingredients. A friend who works at Trader Joe's baked a flour less mint chocolate cake at the store the other day and I tried a piece. It was amazing and I'm not someone who is a chocoholic.

I got the recipe and Ana and I made it today. Let's see how long it will last.

Ana on Emma's Scooter

Ana has mastered riding on Emma's scooter. Emma rides it to school (when we walk to school) and Ana rides it back home.  Good for her!

Hispanic Festival

The girls and I had so much fun at the Hispanic Festival. Cameron stayed home to work on house projects. We enjoyed delicious food and excellent music.

While Big Sister is in School

Ana and I can go grocery shopping, work on projects and relax. It is so easy and a lot quieter just having one kid!

We enjoy walking to Emma's school to pick her up. Every day we walk by Orville Wright's house. Quite spectacular! 

Treasuring these days with one kiddo because before I know it, she'll be all day in school!

Running Home from School - First Day

Emma is officially a first grader! We ran home from school...it was pouring rain. Actually, I was pushing both girls in the stroller (over 100 lbs.). We were soaking wet! Good times! 😁

First Day - First Grade

Emma was really excited and ready for her first day in First Grade. I'm sure she had butterflies in her stomach but she walked right in to her classroom and hugged me goodbye.

Date Night!

Dinner and a movie (new Jason Bourne movie).  Good times by ourselves.

Weekend at Mei Mei & Paw Paw's

The girls are off to spend the weekend at John & Nancy's. I won't know what to do with myself...OK, maybe I'll sleep in!
