We love both of our girls equally but our firstborn will always have a special place in our heart.

OHS Band Concert
This is our fifth consecutive year that we have attended the high school's band concert. It was a lot of fun and the girls really enjoyed it.

Bike Ride
The girls woke up early on a Sunday morning begging to go on a bike ride. Cameron ran next to Ana since she's still learning how to come on and off the bike. Emma took off like an expert and we rode a couple of miles. It was very humid...I'm glad we did it early otherwise it would have been brutal with the heat and humidity.

Cinnamon Rolls for Uncle Job
We made cinnamon rolls for my brother Job. Emma loves helping out and I have to say that they came out pretty good and good looking! Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the baked and frosted rolls. You'll have to take my word for it, they were delicious!
First Visit to Kings Island
We visited Kings Island for the first time while my parents and my brother Job were here. It was an amazing experience! I can't believe the girls walked around the amusement park for twelve hours! Cameron was right, they don't need a stroller when they are having fun.
Ana was disappointed that she couldn't ride the big rollercoasters. A couple of more years and she'll be able to ride plenty of fast rides. Emma was a good sport and came out of her comfort zone and tried fast rides and a rollercoaster.
We had a blast! We got spoiled while my parents were here.

Shoe Shopping
I told Emma and Ana that when I lived with my parents (and I had a good job) I used to go shopping with my mom almost every weekend. That was one of the things I missed the most when I first got married: the quality time I spent with my mom. Today the girls got to experience that time when all of us made a quick trip to Dillard's to go shoe shopping. Gotta start them early on looking for bargains!

Riding a bike
Emma finally learned how to ride a bike without training wheels and her Abuelo taught her. I told my dad that his number one priority for this visit was to teach Emma how to ride her bike. Mission accomplished! A few more days riding the little bike before she can move on to the big bike.

Starting them Early
The girls love doing their hair. Emma can braid Ana's hair and she does a pretty good job for a six year old. I need to treasure these moments because soon they won't let me do their hair. They are becoming more independent!

Lipstick
I rarely wear lipstick. Chapstick is mostly my thing but when Abuela comes for a visit, it's all about the lipstick with the girls. They love it!

Visiting Gramp's Plane
Cameron's grandfather fought in WWII and he flew a B-26 over Germany. It is always fun looking out for his plane while visiting the Air Force Museum.
Here are the girls in front of the B-26 with their Abuela.
Cow Appreciation Day
Today was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick fil-A. The girls got to make their spotted cow costume to get a free kids meal. The best part was that they got to go with their Abuelos that are in town visiting from Mexico.
Emma got a little confused when she was writing the signs. We needed to spell "Eat More Chicken" the way the cows do and I had to convince her that it was OK to have misspelled words (EAT MOR CHIKIN).
It took less than 30 minutes to put their costumes together but I'm sure the girls will cherish this memory for a while.
