I just finished making four hair bows for Emma's birthday party. Each girl will get one hair bow in their goodies bag along with tons of Mexican candy! I still need to make six more. I sometimes wonder who has more fun, me planning the party or Emma celebrating with her friends. Ha!

Ana - Summer Outfit
As soon as we got home from running errands Ana wanted to change her clothes. It was thirteen degrees outside and this kid picked a summer outfit. Goodness!

Getting Ready - Frozen Birthday Party
I already started planning for the girls' birthday party. They each wanted a Frozen theme (like millions of little girls out there). Today I made Olaf for " Pin the Nose on Olaf" game. All I'm missing is to make the carrot noses. Such an easy and cheap game! I'm sure all the little girls will enjoy playing it.

Flan & Chocoflan
I love flan but unfortunately I don't make it that often. Tonight we are having dinner with some friends and Cameron asked me to make a "chocoflan" (chocolate cake with flan on the top). I had extra flan mixture and made a small flan. Would it be sinful if I ate it all by myself?
I can't remember the first time I had this recipe. All I remember is that it was at the Klemchak's house (long time friends of our family in Juarez). The recipe has a unique ingredient (maybe even secret). So if you live in Juarez, ask a member of the Klemchak family for the recipe and you will fall in love with this flan!

Ana & Henry
We visited my in-laws after church today. As soon as we got there, the girls wanted to say hello to Henry. I was surprised that Henry didn't run away from Ana. We are definitely making some progress on both ends.

Playing for Hours
These girls have been playing for hours in their room. It is freezing cold outside but they still want to wear their summer dress up clothes. They are too much!

"Sleeping" Pictures
Sometimes I just ask the girls to close their eyes and pretend they are sleeping because it reminds me of when they were newborns.

Wrapping a Baby
Emma:"Babe, how do you wrap a baby?"
Cameron: "Here, let me show you. It comes natural because I used to wrap you all the time."
Nice and tight all the time! Cameron was the expert at swaddling the girls.

Healthy Snack - German Chocolate Fudge Balls
I promised the girls they could have these chocolate balls after they finished their lunch. What they don't know is that these German chocolate fudge balls are very healthy! Why? Because the main ingredient is dates!
3/4 C pitted dates
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 TB unsweetened cocoa powder
2 TB unsweetened shredded coconut
1/16 tsp salt
1/2 C pecans
