Simple Craft - Ginger Bread House
We went to Hobby Lobby this morning and got a few Christmas crafts. The girls wanted to get started as soon as the girls woke up from their nap (hence their messy hair). Emm did a great job showing Ana what to do (I didn't help them at all).

$8.50 Christmas Wreath
I got a huge bag of Christmas ornaments at a garage sale for $5 and I knew immediately what I wanted to do with them. A Christmas wreath! The frame was $1.50 at Hobby Lobby (with coupon) and $2 for the garland. I used lots of hot glue sticks and finished it in about an hour while the girls were napping.

First Official Snow Day
School was cancelled and Emma begged to go outside. The girls had a lot of fun. Ana got too cold and went inside while Emma stayed out in the snow for a long time.
Playing Before School
Emma couldn't wait to go outside and play in the snow this morning before school. Today is our first snow of the season and she was out there playing before 7:30!

Emma Reads her First Book!
Tonight Emma read her first book all by herself! She has been working really hard with her Babe (yes, that's what she calls Cameron) every night during story time. Emma really enjoys reading and learning new sounds. Hopefully the joy of reading will be with her all her life.

Biking
Cameron and I went on a short run this morning (crisp 39 degrees) and Emma was riding her bike. She did a great job keeping up with our pace. Where was Ana? Riding in the stroller with a nice warm blanket. Ha!

Ana & Bandaid
Ana fell and hit her mouth. The injury (a little blood inside her upper lip) suddenly stopped hurting once she put a bandaid on it. Sometimes these bandaids are magic! Ha!
