Emma and I enjoyed a bowl of cantelope on our patio early in the morning. Atenas kept Emma warm by sitting on her lap. I enjoy seeing Emma's love for Atenas.

Chocolate or Dirt?
This looks a lot like a big chocolate mess, right? Well it turns out that Ana was eating dirt. This girl keeps surprising me with her mischiviousness.

Daddy's Truck
The girls have so much fun "riding" (pretending) Cameron's new truck (well, new to us...it is 10 years old).
Always Teaching
Auntie Carol is a retired teacher and if you see her around kids, you immediately see her love and passion for kids and teaching. Here she is with Emma sorting brass charms. I think Emma really enjoyed doing that!
Chicago Deep Dish Pizza
We had to have Chicago's deep dish pizza while visiting Carol. So we had Lou Malnati's pizza and it was really good! We picked it up and finished baking it at Carol's house. We had it with Belgian beer (served in a crystal Tiffany's mug - very fancy) and for dessert we had sorbets. So yummy!
At the Farm
We went to an old farm and the girls got to see so many farm animals. I think their favorite animals were the horses. I liked the pigs and the chickens. Hopefully next time we go they'll be able to see how they milk a cow. We had so much fun!
Emma & Atenas
Emma is so sweet with Atenas, she even kisses and hugs her good night almost every night. The other night we had bad thunderstorm in Chicago and Emma got Atenas on her lap and swaddled her with her favorite blanket. It was really cute.

Napping
Sleeping on a "big" girl he'd has been a challenge for Ana these past few days. That girl just won't stay in bed! The solution was for me to lay down with her. Yesterday she took a great nap! I'm hoping once we get hone everything will go back to normal.
First Train Ride
Yesterday the girls experienced their first train ride. Emma was so excited and had a great time. Ana on the other hand was scared and started to cry (unbelievable right?). She was fine after the train started going. We had traditional Chicago dogs at Little Louie's then went to the park accross the street. Emma was a real trooper climbing the tall playground and sliding down the curvy slide. Since it started to rain and we needed shelter, we went to get some ice cream while we waited roe our train ride.
Such a fun day!
Our Visit with Auntie Carol
We are visiting our dear friend Carol in Chicago for a few days. Cameron is in training during the day while we get to have fun with auntie Carol.
Her house is beautiful and decorated with impeccable taste, so we have to be really careful with Ana to make sure she doesn't get into any trouble. So far so good.
The girls have been enjoying their visits to the park and eating ice cream (both things two days in a row). We are having too much fun!

Children's Museum
This morning we went to the children's museum and it was so much fun! We met a couple of Emma's preschool friends there. All the girls were running around, climbing, playing with water and of course learning a few things.
We'll have to go back soon!
Girls
I took this picture yesterday before reading their bedtime story. Ana is getting so big that Emma won't be able to hold her anymore.

Last Day of School
Today was Emma's last day of school and the teachers prepared a fun carnival day. The kids played different games, won prizes, got their face painted and they also made a gift for Father's Day. At the end the kids sang songs and it was just adorable.
We gave a full summer ahead of us!
Here's Emma with her friends.

Child Locks
Here's the proof of why we need those child locks on the car doors! Ana can unbuckle the top part of her TIGHT seatbelt, wiggle her arms out, and reach for the door handle and pull it while I'm driving! She is our faith testing child!
