Gingerbread House

The girls had a lot of fun building the gingerbread house with their Dad. Emma was really into building it and Ana was into eating the candy. It came out really cute!

First Snow of the season

Yesterday we got our first winter snow storm. The girls and I geared up and went outside to play and shovel our driveway. Emma loved it. Ana on the other hand didn't care much for the snow. She refused to wear a winter hat and ended up wearing a sun hat (crazy kid).

Drastic Weather Change

A couple of days we were enjoying warm weather (high 50s) and we spent that afternoon playing ball, hide & seek and took a long walk with Atenas.

Today is another story. We are expecting six inches of snow.

Rustic Apple Tart

Threw this rustic apple tart together really quick with leftover pie crust, homemade apple sauce and apples from a local orchard. Delucious!

Papoose

I thought about getting rid of the Baby Hawk carrier a while ago but I decided to keep it. I'm glad I did becausethis little stinker always wants to be held, especially when she sick. Good thing I have it so I can carry her around the house and get things done.

Another "New" Dress

Emma wore another new hand-me-down dress to school today! Good thing that Emma's cousin Isabelle gave her bows of all different colors and I don't have a problem finding one that matches her outfits.

Ana - Too Much

Ana is our wild child. She is so different than her sister. I know each kid has their own personality but u don't think we were prepared for Ana (we were spoiled with Emma).

Ana is learning things at a faster rate and trying to keep up with her sister. She loves singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, The Wheels on the Bus and the ABCs. She's outgoing, stubborn, a climber, and a good eater.

Here's Ana buckled in to the toy stroller ans also on top of the kitchen counter getting/stealing candy!

Emma in Sparkles

We set up the Christmas tree last Friday. Emma did a great job helping me with the ornaments. This year the tree is lacking all of the breakable ornament because Ana seems to be attracted to them and won't stay on the tree.

Ana's Outfit

Flower top, camouflage skirt, stripped pants and socks. That pretty much describes Ana's outfit this morning. Good thing she didn't go out in public like that.

We got a box in the mail today from my parents. We knew what was in it: Emma's new white sparkly shoes among other things.

Emma was exhausted after a weekend in Hamilton with John & Nancy.

Ana in Emma's Shoes

There's something about shoes that draws Ana's attention. She loves wearing Emma's shoes. I think you will see her wearing her sister's shoes more often than her own shoes.

Texan Visitors

Yesterday we had the pleasure of seeing Charlie and Diana Dennis. They live in Houston and have known Cameron since he was three years old and they are good friends with John and Nancy.

Emma and Ana have heard so much about Mrs. Dennis and they warmed up to her really quick.

Cinderella and Ariel

Here are Emma and her friend Hannah at preschool this morning. They looked beautiful!

Emma couldn't wait to start eating her candy from school. She was doing a good job sharing it with her sister.

Ana sleeping

Ana fell asleep on our way back from the grocery store. It was not even nap time so she caught me by surprise. She usually wakes up as soon as we get home. Well not this time. She slept on our bed for over an hour! After that her entire napping was disturbed. Good thing this just happens rarely.
