The other day I made some sweet flour gorditas. The first time I had these gorditas was over ten years ago in Juarez. Lupita Maldonado would feed them to my aunt Hilda and me for breakfast every morning along with oatmeal. I would always ask for the recipe and finally last February when I went down to Juarez, Lupita taught me how to make them.
When Cameron came home for lunch yesterday, he had a gordita for dessert and shared it with Emma.
