Valentine’s Box

 Ana got all her Valentine’s ready. She made the Valentine’s box to be a golden retriever named Maddy.

Sledding at Hawthorn Hill

 There is an old picture at a local museum that shows kids sledding down the hill of the historical house Hawthorn Hill. A century later and the kids still enjoy going down they steep hill. The girls were out there for two hours and lives every minute. 

Birthday CelebrationS

 Cameron organized a birthday dinner at My in-laws the weekend before my birthday. Emma and Ana made my favorite cake: carrot cake. 

For my birthday all four of us plus Nancy and Aunt Jan went out to a local pizzeria for lunch. Nancy baked brownies for dessert. 

For birthday dinner Cameron grilled ribeye steaks. 

Two days after my birthday, we went over to our friends’ house for another birthday dinner. Lots of celebrating and lots to be thankful for!

Ana | Dance Lessons

 Both girls take dance lessons once a week. Ana likes to dress up in last year’s performance outfit when she goes to class. Might as well take advantage and wear the outfit since they weren’t able to use it last May since the performance was canceled. 

Trip to San Antonio

 I joined Cameron on his businesses  trip to San Antonio earlier this month. We stayed at La Cantera Resort; it was amazing. I worked out and relaxed while Cameron was working. 

Bathroom Remodel Update

 The girls helped waterproof the shower. We also started laying the tile. It has been a slow process because Cameron can only work on it after work. 

We are still waiting for our double vanity that we ordered from Wayfair. We ordered it November 20; it has been quite an ordeal. 

Hello 2021

For New Year's Eve we went over to Dan and Allison's house; the girls were beyond excited to see Titus (they claimed him as their cousin since the moment he was born and have not stopped loving him). We had lots of yummy finger food and desserts.  

We came home before midnight and as soon as we got home, Cameron started a fire.  The girls were excited as we welcomed a new year. Their resolutions: Emma - to get better at dance and advance to the next level. Ana - to get better at gymnastics and advance to the next level.
