Ana is Sick

Poor Ana got hit with what appears to be the flu (a little vomit, aches & fever). We missed our niece's performance in The Sound of Music because Ana was miserable. Cameron and Emma got to go and said the show was amazing.

Emma, being the caring and loving big sister, made this cute drawing for Ana. We are all praying for speedy recovery.

Building a Birdfeeder

Cameron and Emma built a bird feeder out of scrap wood. It was designed by Emma and it came out pretty good. Emma is not afraid to get her hands dirty and learn from her dad. Very cute!

The Cat in the Hat

The girls are at a great age where they can sit through a performance and enjoy a show. We went to see The Cat in the Hat. Lots of fun in a beautiful theater.

Egg Hunt

Ana wanted to go to the egg hunt hosted at her preschool.  She got lots of eggs filled with candy. Great.

Second ice cream trip to DQ

Puppet Show

The girls surprised us by giving us a clever puppet show about a dragon and a unicorn. They worked really hard on preparing for it. They even made dollar bills for us to pay the entrance fee. Ha! It was fun seeing their imagination working together.

Birthday Celebration with the Edmonds

Our good friends Dan & Allison missed the girls' birthday party last weekend because they were out of town. The solution was to have a sleepover at their house; why not? Food was amazing, desserts were delicious and the fun was memorable. The girls got in the hot tub, roasted marshmallows by the fire, jumped in the trampoline, played (and got muddy) in the creek, and for multiple rides on the four wheeler. This was definitely a birthday celebration to remember. Can't believe Emma is seven and Ana is five. Days go slow but the years go fast!
