Landscaping

Last weekend we all worked hard in landscaping our frontyard (especially Cameron). We hope that our perennial garden will grow to be beautiful.

Here is what the house looked like before we bought it. Notice the huge tree behind the house and all the old bushes throughout the front and side yard. Also the side gables were in desperate need of paint.

All the bushes are gone. My dad spent a significant amount of sweat hours removing the huge roots from all those old bushes. Here's the house freshly painted and ready for landscaping:

Here's the finished product:

Another man's trash, is another man's treasure. We found this chair in a trash pile; when we saw it we knew immediately that it would be part of our landscaping.

Cameron made the side entry more attractive and sharming by adding pavers to create a walkway:

Car Wash

Last night Cameron and Emma washed the truck. As you can imagine, the end result was a clean truck, soaked baby, and lots of fun!

Laundry Shoot

Emma loves the laundry shoot. So far she does't know how to open it; otherwise I'm afraid I would find other things rather than just dirty laundry down the shoot.

Seventeen Months

Happy Seventeen Months our dear Emma!

This is what happens when Emma gets in Mommy's makeup bag and grabs the eye liner: It could have been worse, right?

Laundry and Picking

Although we have a dryer, I like using the clothe line to dry our clothes. I have to take advantage of the wonderful weather and also save some energy.

This morning while I was hanging Emma's clothes...

...Emma went to our garden and picked cherry tomatoes and ate them! This is something Daddy taught her.

Peace?

We are not sure what to make out of these hand signals:
