Aryelle turns ONE!

Last Friday Aryelle turned one. We celebrated her yesterday (on Father’s Day and Emma’s baptism) at the Edmond’s house. Nancy made a beautiful cake and the decorations were beautiful. We are so blessed to have friends that are like family.

Emma’s Baptism

What a special Father’s Day we had yesterday especially because we witnessed Emma being baptized by our pastor Sean.  Our dear friends the Edmonds, the Bonhams, Paw Paw (John) and my niece Isabelle were witnesses to Emma’s baptism.

Homemade Ice cream

Ana was begging to make homemade ice cream. She picked a recipe online and decided on chocolate ice cream with only four ingredients (which we had in our house): milk, whipping cream, cocoa powder, and sugar.

Two Weeks in TX

The girls and I headed to Corpus Christi, TX on Mother’s  Day to help my friend Scenet and her husband Jonah care for their kids while they went to Colorado for medical treatment. Last time I had seen Scenet’s family was in 2019 when her twin girls were about twelve weeks old.

Emma and Ana brought their last two weeks of school and they finished it while in Texas. I’m so proud of them for finishing school and helping out with the kids. Our visit was filled with a lot of work, challenging situations, hot temperatures, new shopping experiences, and three snake encounters. My favorite part was all the connections made and desires to keep learning Bible stories from Nico. He was a little sponge learning about David, Jonah, Elijah, and of course our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

At the end of the two weeks, Cameron came down for the weekend and we all flew back together to Ohio. We were so excited to see him but Nico, Ade and Isa were also happy to have “a papi” at their house.

Praise the Lord that Jonah and Scenet are back home. They were gone almost three weeks and they found medical answers.
