We went to the Mexican store this morning and came home with lots of goodies, including chicharrón. The girls love it! Ha, they can't deny their heritage.

Yesterday was the first time that the girls had Christmas Eve with their cousins. The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful and our time together as a family was perfect.

Emma's Christmas Party
Yesterday Emma's preschool had their Christmas party. It was really cute seeing the kids sing Christmas carols. Ana and I stayed to help during the party. Ana had so much fun playing with all the dolls and eating the party snacks (which included lots of M&Ms).

The girls had so much fun making sugar cookies for Emma's preschool's Christmas party. Of course the cookies they got to eat at home were completely covered with icing and sprinkles.

Historical Society
Our local historical society had an open house this afternoon. It was fun to go as a family and learn a little history. The girls got to make Christmas ornaments and bracelets and we got to tour the house and have hot apple cider straight from the fire.
First Nutcracker Ballet
Yesterday Cameron took Emma to see the Nutcracker for the first time. Emma knew the story and was very familiar with the performance. She absolutely loved it!

Ana - Selfie & Carrots
Right before her nap Ana requested carrots for a snack. She had just had lunch a little over an hour ago therefore I knew she wasn't hungry. I promised the carrots after her nap. Two hours later, she woke up and was demanding her carrots. Of course I made her ask politely and then gave her the carrots. At least it was a healthy snack!
**If you notice that she is wearing the same outfit in the past several posts, is because she wants to wear her "Elsa" dress everywhere day.
Christmas Decorations
Yesterday the girls helped me set up our Christmas decorations. Emma was really into it and Ana had more fun playing with the boxes. The only thing left is put up our Christmas lights on our Magnolia tree outside.
